What are Boss Calls™?

Boss Calls™ are bi-monthly, SHRM and HRCI accredited live interactive webinars covering a wide range of HR topics. Some have described them as a hybrid webinar-podcast! Boss Calls are designed to keep you updated with the latest developments and best practices in human resources. Each session is conducted by Lisa Smith, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, EEOC Certified Investigator, providing valuable insights to help you navigate the complexities of HR management. Occasionally, we also feature guest speakers who are experts in their fields.

How do I access Boss Calls™?

Boss Calls™ is a core feature of the HelpDesk for HR membership. As a member, you will receive email notifications to sign up for each webinar. Additionally, you can log in to your HelpDesk for HR Dashboard, navigate to the Boss Call access page, and register for upcoming sessions.

What if I can’t make it to one of the calls?

If you miss a live Boss Call, don't worry! Replays are available to ensure you never miss out on valuable content. You'll receive an email with a link to the replay and any relevant documents. These replays are also accessible through your dashboard, where you'll find an archive of all past Boss Calls. Plus, you can watch all replays on the go with the HelpDesk for HR mobile app.

Can non-members sign up for a Boss Call?

Yes, non-members can sign up for individual Boss Calls for a one-time fee of $49-$89. If you receive an email about a call that interests you, simply follow the registration instructions to join.

How are Boss Calls conducted?

Boss Calls are conducted via Zoom, allowing for interactive and engaging sessions. Upon registration, you will receive a Zoom link to access the call. We encourage live interaction to maximize the learning experience.
