I have not reached out to you, however we have come upon a compliance issue regarding the Service Contractor Act. We are a government contractor with under 50 employees, and it has come to our attention that we should must comply to the 1 hour for S&P per every 30 hours worked or 7 days per year.Please can you send or enlighten me on this rule?

Thanks for reaching out. This is definitely a serious matter with specific qualifiers.

Here is a link to the FAQ for this Rule which says that effective January 2017 “new contracts” must comply.

Read the criteria under Contract Coverage and if it applies to your company read on.
