Hey Compliance Warriors and Bosses!
If you’re an employer with a sizable team in the US or a federal contractor, you might want to mark your calendars and maybe set a dozen reminders. Why? Because the 2022 EEO-1 reporting period is fast approaching. And guess what? It’s opening up on October 31, 2023.
Who’s On The Hook?
Not every employer has to file this report. If your company has 100 or more employees within the U.S. borders, then yes, you need to get on this. And for our federal contractors out there? If you’re boasting a team of at least 50 U.S. employees, you’re not off the hook either.
Snapshot Period – Don’t Miss It!
Now, here’s the catch: This isn’t about any old data you have lying around. The 2022 EEO-1 report wants the fresh stuff. And by “fresh,” I mean the workforce payroll data you’ve got from October 1 to December 31, 2022. That’s your window. A snapshot, if you will.
Clock’s Ticking – December 5, 2023
Okay, once you’ve got that snapshot, don’t just let it gather digital dust. You’ve got a deadline, and it’s not that far away. December 5, 2023 is your last day to file the report.
