How to train your GOLDFISH. What??
Effective employee training is all the talk these days! A colleague sent this article to me recently from the Wall Street Journal. The hot talk these days in the training world revolves around two big topics:
1. Why do some employers skimp on training in the face of mounting law suits and government audits?
2. How do you train a workforce that is so distracted due to an increase in individual work responsibilities and an attention span that now equals that of a goldfish?
I am not trying to be offensive. Our attentions spans have dropped to about 8 seconds on average. If you can't grab me in 8 seconds, then I am probably going to stop listening. Sad, but true. So, read on (PLEASE) and see how you can train a GOLDFISH!
