Hey Compliance Warriors!

North Carolina passed a law called Employee Fair Classification Act on August 11,2017. This will take effect on December 31, 2017. It's allowing Employees to more easily prosecute employers that are misclassifying their workers as independent contractors. Although this is being passed in NC, this is still really good information for all those wondering if their workers are considered employees or independent contractors.
